The programs offered by The CreatingWE® Institute are not the same as other C-IQ programs you may have attended in the past. Along with our late founder, Judith E. Glaser, The CreatingWE Institute has a deep belief that immersive learning and concrete application are critical to ‘living Conversational Intelligence’, whether in a virtual classroom, a business setting, or at home. Putting this into practice, in the moment, is where the impact and shifts of C-IQ occur. This is what we do when we work with clients and organizations, and this is how transformation occurs.

Conversational Intelligence rests on several science disciplines – neuroscience and anthropology, as well as the most recent research on leadership, communication, and human groups. As a result, our programs are steeped in research, innovation, and tangible, yet nuanced concepts.

At their core, though, they are about learning, applying, and embodying Conversational Intelligence, not just listening to us present (as riveting as we may be!)  And because our programs are about conversations,  all of our programs, including this Hybrid program, incorporate a live component, so that conversations are always part of the process.

The Hybrid Foundations Program is designed for professionals new to Conversational Intelligence® who have not attended other C-IQ courses or programs. The program introduces the essential concepts of C-IQ, focusing on its application to yourself and your everyday and business conversations. If you are a business leader or owner, corporate leader, a consultant or coach - really, anyone whose work relies on conversations with others - you will find valuable and immediately useful learning in this program!

In addition to its status as a ‘standalone’ program, the Hybrid Foundations Program is Phase I of the three-phase C-IQ Accreditation. You can find additional information here. 

Whether you are interested in just this one program, or you plan to attend  other C-IQ programs in the future, Foundations of Conversational Intelligence is considered ‘foundational,’ and will be a registration requirement for many of our future programs. 

The content and the main program components are identical in each program:

• 5 Modules of Content
• 5  live (via Zoom) ExperiMentor Sessions
• Fieldwork
• Module Materials Guides and Resources

The ExperiMentor Sessions are the same: 90 minutes of whole group and small group discussion and application. 

The Module Materials, Resources, and Fieldwork (practice in the real world) are the same.

The main difference between the programs is that in the Hybrid program, you access the content via co-facilitated content recordings, rather than attending a live presentation.

The recordings are not of Debra and Pearce-McCall and I presenting a live session. Each content recording was created and co-facilitated by us with conversations - and the Hybrid Program - in mind. The content recordings run between 30 minutes and 70 minutes per Module. 

The Hybrid Foundations of C-IQ program has both live and self-paced components. . Because Conversational Intelligence is about, well – conversations, we strongly believe that holding live, interactive sessions, and immersive ExperiMentor groups is critical to the application of C-IQ . Our content is self-paced, and our ExperiMentor sessions are held virtually via Zoom, and regular participation in these full group and small group discussion sessions are part of your learning commitment. 

The Hybrid program is 11 weeks long; each of the 5 module periods(which we call 'Segments" are 2 weeks long.  During that 2-week period, you will watch that Segment's content recordings at your convenience (between 30 and 70 minutes total per Segment), and attend a live (via Zoom) 90-minute ExperiMentor session for discussions and application. 

Our programs  are specifically designed to incorporate practice; and Fieldwork (‘applying your learning to the outside world’) is part of the program. Within each 2-week module period, you will select upcoming conversations in your personal world to apply your C-IQ learning, and then reflect on what you’ve learned. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for for each Segment's fieldwork

Plan to allow approximately 3 to 3.5 hours dedicated time for each 2-week period. Only 90 minutes of that time is at a pre-schedule time (the ExperiMentor session) See the calendar for those dates/times.

At this beginning stage of your C-IQ journey, the focus is on building skills for your ‘self-use’ – developing C-IQ mastery, and beginning to apply the tools to your own conversations. We know from our experience working with a diversity of people and groups: they find Conversational Intelligence to be impactful, both personally and professionally, no matter where they choose to apply it.

If you are interested in formally using C-IQ knowledge and our tools/resources in your work or business, or with your clients or client organizations, you will want to pursue Accreditation. Each level of the accreditation process includes deeper training, and permissions to use the resources in your work. You can find more information on this here.

We expect so. Our regular Foundations Program, as well as our other C-IQ programs have all been awarded ICF CCEU's - both Core and RD.

Even though the content of this program is identical to our regular Foundations Program, the delivery method differs so we have applied for ICF approval as a new program. As soon as we know the result we will let you know.

Successful completion of one of the Foundations of C-IQ programs (the regular or Hybrid) is the first step in becoming accredited in Conversational Intelligence.

There are two additional Program Phases, each of which deepen your C-IQ embodiment and, upon successful completion, accredit you to use the materials and concepts in your work. You’ll find more information here.

This particular program is specifically designed for people who are not yet familiar with Conversational Intelligence. Integrating experienced C-IQ coaches into this program isn’t optimal as it has a strong impact on the group, and individual learning and dynamics.

As an Enhanced Coach, you are eligible to pursue accreditation through our programs. However, because our programs are quite different than those offered in the past, there is a required “transition course” that ensures that you come into Accreditation with the same embodiment experience as those attending the more recent programs.
